Aber bald werden die Ausblicker netter: die Wachau ist der Teil der Donau zwischen Krems und Melk, ein malerisches Tal, bekannt fuer mildes Klima und Weinbau. Hier ein Blick auf Duernstein an der gegenueberliegenden Flussseite.

Soon the scenery got nicer: the area what we call "Wachau" is located along the Danube river between the cities Krems and Melk. It is famout for it's moderate climate and production of wine.
Many nice places for a rest can be found. Here a view across the river to the village called "Duernstein".
This and the following pictures give some impression about this lovely area.
